как пишут К. Авив и Д. Шнеер, «больше русских евреев сейчас переезжает из Израиля в Россию, чем наоборот» [Aviv, Shneer 2005:49]. В отличие от других эмигрантов, русские в Израиле продолжают писать по-русски, выпускать русскоязычные литературные и художественные журналы, например, «Иерусалимский журнал» и «Зеркало» (выходит в Тель-Авиве). Многие из этих авторов, например, Д. Рубина и Ю. Винер, сохраняют популярность в России. В произведениях Винер в качестве контрапункта русскому тексту используются идиш и иврит[323]. Три языка, с которыми жившие в России еврейские авторы работали в начале XX века, снова, после долгого перерыва, появляются на одной странице.

В интернете можно найти множество русскоязычных сайтов, связанных с еврейскими темами, от религиозных практик (toldot. ru) до литературной критики, авторских страниц, еврейских онлайн-энциклопедий на русском, поэзии, прозы, публицистики. Многие журналы выходят также и в онлайн-формате. Сайты создаются в России, Германии, Израиле, США и на Украине, но охват у них, разумеется, всемирный – и это вклад в формирование того, что Гительман называет «всемирным местечком» [Gitel-man 1998b: 127]. Широкий диапазон литературной, художественной и научной деятельности говорит о том, что еврейская культура на русском языке сохраняет свое значение, как внутри географических границ России, так и за их пределами – и за пределами существования СССР.
